Gates Made To Order

Norton Gate

Norton Gates are a basic Ledged and Braced, nailed construction made using     22 x 150mm planed (smooth) timber for the frame and 19 x 100mm tongue and groove for the cladding. Options include a flat or a curved top and treated or untreated timber. Norton gates are made to order on site so we can make any size, although we don't recommend widths over 5'. General lead time is around a week.

Farrington Gate

Farrington Gates are Framed Ledged and Braced with Screwed Joints, made using 47 x 100mm planed (smooth) timber for the frame and 19 x 100mm tongue and groove for the cladding. These gates are heavy duty and great value for money. Options include a flat or a curved top and treated or untreated timber. Farrington Gates are made to order on site so you can have almost any size, although we don't recommend widths over 6', wider gates can be made but we may need to alter the frame design to suit. General lead time is around a week.

Stratton Gate

Stratton Gates are a more refined version of the Farrington, the Stratton is a robust Framed Ledged and Braced gate constructed with Screwed Joints made using 47 x 100mm planed (smooth) timber for the frame and 19 x 100mm tongue and groove for the cladding. The frame is rebated so that the cladding sits flush, reducing the overall thickness of the gate. This gate is only made with pressure treated timber (Tanalith E - green), and is only available with a flat top. These gates are made to order on site so you can have almost any size, although we don't recommend widths over 6'. General lead time is around a week.
