Home Grown Timber

Quite often our customers are looking for something that isn't available 'off the shelf', this ranges from Oak beams and lintels for a restoration project, to wide boards for a bar top. We have the facilities and ability to cut almost any size to order, as long as we have a log in stock that is large enough to cut it from. 

The main species of logs that we keep in stock are; Oak, Douglas Fir and Larch, which are commonly used for structural purposes. We also keep Lebanese Cedar, Sequoia and Poplar which can be used for other applications. The different species of timber have different properties and characteristics that lend themselves better to certain applications. If you aren't sure what sort of timber you need then contact us and we can recommend what would suit you best based on the intended purpose. 

The general lead time for timber cut to order is around 7 - 10 days. Pressure treatment service is available however this will increase the lead time by around 4 - 5 days.
