Lunawood Claddings

Lunawood has been Thermo-processed for 6 days at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.

The chemical changes that take place in the timber during this processing lead to the timbers ability to retain water significantly reduced, it also breaks down the hemicelluloses (sugar chains) making the timber no longer nutritionally supportive of decay-causing fungi.

Treatment

Pressure treatment is available with a typical lead time of 3 - 4 working days, this can be in either Tanalised which is a green treatment or Vac-Vac which is a clear treatment.
