38mm x 125mm Decking Boards

We keep in stock 38mm x 125mm decking (32mm x 120mm finished size). Machined from 4th grade Redwood (furniture grade), and pressure treated green. We have always used the same double sided board profile to enable our customers to extend or repair their decking in the future if required. 38mm x 125mm decking board is thicker than many other profiles available on the market, allowing joist centres to be set further apart therefore saving money on framework.

Timber Rails / Joists

Below is a typical stock grid of the popular sizes that would be used when building decking framework. We generally keep all listed sizes in stock, however availability should be checked before ordering. Sizes not on our list can be cut to order. The sizes listed are normally Kiln dried, regularised (smooth finish - no splinters), pressure treated green and graded either C16 or C24. When using 38mm x 125mm deck board Joists should be set at no more than 600mm centres.

Post Sizes

The grid below shows post sizes that may be useful if you are raising your deck off the ground. Non-standard sizes can be cut to order. All posts listed are a fine sawn finish and are pressure treated green. Planed posts and Newel posts can be found under Balustrading.
